DUNMORE Honored as Boeing Supplier

BRISTOL, PA | DUNMORE reports it has received a 2017 Boeing Performance Excellence Award, issued annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. DUNMORE maintained a Gold composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from October 2016 to September 2017.

The Gold Level Boeing Performance Excellence Award designation was received by only 72 companies the prior year. With more than 13,000 suppliers from 47 countries servicing Boeing, DUNMORE says it is a great privilege to be acknowledged as a key supplier. The company, a manufacturer of thin film products, supplies Boeing with a number of films and film laminates for both aircraft and space applications.

DUNMORE has been supplying decorative film and protective film products to the aerospace industry for decades. Many of the world’s largest aircraft companies use the company’s films and laminates for thermal acoustic insulation and protection of cabin interiors. Multi-layer insulation films are also a fixture in space exploration, protecting spacecraft structures and sensitive instruments from the harsh environment of space.
