Atlas Offers Upgrade Packages for Slitters

KEMPSTON, BEDFORD, UK | Atlas Converting Equipment reports it has developed a range of standard upgrades for both Atlas and Titan slitter/rewinders, meaning customers whose older machines may no longer meet productivity needs do not have to buy new ones. 
Company says the upgrades will increase productivity and reliability and reduce maintenance requirements as well.
The upgrade packages include the following:
- PC operating systems upgrades
- PLC system upgrades
- Differential quick shafts
- Knife and core positioning systems Rewind arm upgrades
- Contact roll upgrades
- Hydraulic and pneumatic upgrades.
