POLAR Offers Gifts to Celebrate Anniversary

HOFHEIM, GERMANY | POLAR, supplier of cutting and die-cutting equipment, is celebrating its 111th anniversary in 2017. The company says to thank its customers, it is offering performance-enhancing options for various products free of charge as of February 2017. The promotion is limited and applies to deliveries in 2017.
Extensive portfolio ranges from high-speed cutters to components and systems that allow many processes relating to cutting and die-cutting to be optimized. This also includes PACE, a networking software to link the machinery and gripper systems and automate processes. Recently line of products was expanded to include digital cutting with numerous cutting and finishing options based on laser technology.
Following are the gifts in detail which company is offering for orders as of February and up to September 2017:
- Customers opting for the top-of-the-line Model N PRO HD will be given the Compucut software for their high-speed cutters free of charge. Compucut is a state-of-the-art software for generating cutting programs. Reportedly, it reduces set-up times to the very minimum. Compucut takes the sheet layout designed in prepress as a JDF file and generates an optimized cutting program.
- The N PLUS high-speed cutter model has process visualization integrated free-of-charge. Based on a graphic presentation of the sheet, process visualization shows the operator how to move the material being processed. The machine display has the sheet representation integrated and works with all automatically generated cutting programs. This is said to significantly reduce the risk of errors.
- Customers who buy a hydraulic D-model cutting machine will receive a €111 voucher for buying a Guillo-Crease, a creasing system that reportedly converts cutting machine into a creasing machine quickly and easily.
- Every Transomat Unloader TRE will be equipped with an extra OPP, an optical pallet pointer said to help align the pallet easily.
The webshop will also be celebrating the anniversary throughout the year offering continuous promotional campaigns.
