Phoenix Challenge Winners Announced
- Published: April 13, 2016
CHARLOTTE, NC | The Phoenix Challenge Foundation, an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization of industry professionals dedicated to the recruitment and development of the future workforce for flexography, recently held its 9th annual college competition. Each team showcased its problem-solving skills and knowledge of graphic arts and flexography, presenting the results of its projects in professional business presentations to a judging panel comprised of today’s industry leaders.
The competition requires students to develop, create, and present a complete solution with a roadmap of research, design, and printed/converted execution to solve a viable business-centric problem. The projects take form over an entire college semester and allow each student team to apply its business acumen, analysis, design creativity, and flexography knowledge. It comes to a conclusion when each team presents their project during an all-day presentation and competition event. Winners are presented with trophies and scholarships to aid in further pursuing a future in flexography.
