KAMPF to Deliver Slitters to New Plant in India

HARYANA, INDIA | SRF Limited, a supplier for packaging films, technical textiles, fluorine chemicals, specialty chemicals, and engineering plastics, is setting up a new BOPET plant in India. The plant will produce up to 30,000 tons of BOPET film per year. The capacity for metallized film will be 8,000 tons per year, and more than 60% of the proposed project output of flexible packaging will be used in the food packaging and beverages industries.
KAMPF will deliver four machines to SRF for this greenfield project. Beside one new Imperial nonstop winder, there are three high-performance slitters: one Universal slitter for material widths to 8,700 mm, and two Unislit II slitters for materials widths to 3,050 mm.
Installation and commissioning of the machines in Indore, Madya Pradesh, will take place in the final quarter of 2016.
