Inland Acquires Monet Graphics

LA CROSSE, WI | Inland, a supplier of advanced packaging technology, has purchased the customer base and certain assets of Monet Graphics, Downingtown, PA, a flexographic label printer.
The acquisition, the first of its kind for the Wisconsin company, comes after a recent local expansion and rebrand and is reportedly in keeping with Inland’s strategy to grow its presence in the pressure-sensitive label and flexible packaging markets.
“It is our goal to continue to grow this company. Finding the right partners to join the Inland family is one component of our strategy,” says Mark Glendenning, Inland owner and CEO. “Not only did we see the level of experience and technical expertise that we were looking for in Monet, but its culture is one that fits well with what we’ve built at Inland.”
Steve Dudley, a partner and executive VP at Monet, will join Inland and continue to manage the operations at Monet’s current location. “We are pleased to have Steve join our team and are looking forward to his help as we work together to expand and grow,” says Glendenning.
Founded in 1995, Monet Graphics employs 23 people at a 30,000-sq-ft facility. Inland says it plans on capitalizing on the newly acquired company by maintaining and growing its existing business, with future plans to include new business. The plant will serve as an addition to Inland’s three facilities in La Crosse, where the company employs some 300 people.
The announcement of the transaction was made by Epicomm, the Assn. for Leaders in Print, Mail, Fulfillment, and Marketing Services. Epicomm’s Business Advisory Group provided Inland with ongoing strategic advice on growth, introduced the parties, and advised on the transaction price and structure.
