Treofan Enhances Film Processing Temps
- Published: December 19, 2014
RAUNHEIM, GERMANY | BOPP film producer Treofan reports its films HNA, HND, and HLD can now be processed at temperatures to 60 deg C (140 deg F) at the forming collar. Company says this enhancement has been achieved through a newly designed and tailored additive package on the films’ reverse side. Processing properties under standard conditions remain unchanged, reportedly providing a stable hot slip over an extended temperature range.
“Reliability and flexibility are extremely important to our customers when it comes to converting our films. With our new development, we have been able to significantly improve both factors,” says CEO Peter Vanacker.
