BST and eltromat Announce Merger

LEOPOLDSHOEHE, GERMANY | eltromat reports that as of July 1st, 2014, it will be 100% owned by BST International, a subsidiary of elexis AG.

Print applications that will be brought together include web guiding, register control, web viewing, print inspection, color measurement, workflow solutions and automation technology for gravure, flexo, roll-fed offset, and digital printing.

Web applications include web guiding, register control, automation technology, surface inspection, thickness measurement, web width measurement, sensor technology, and workflow solutions for web-based production processes such as nonwoven production and film extrusion.

Company says merger will allow a stronger sales and service structure; a broad product range to help customers find the best possible solution for their requirements; and a combined force for product development that will allow faster response to market requirements.

This merger is intended to combine the force of both companies. Thus, the managing directors Dr. Tautorus and Dr. Kipp from eltromat as well as Mr. Meyer from BST International will take over the management of the merged companies.
