Nordmeccanica Opens Two New Facilities

HAUPPAUGE, NY | Nordmeccanica has moved into a new location in Hauppauge. The company says it will be able to grow the size of spare parts inventory at this new location, which is twice the size of the previous facility, and permanently feature a full-size, 59-in.wide laminator. 

Reportedly, the larger space will allow the storage of a significant number of ancillaries such as roll handling carts and adhesive mixers to guarantee immediate delivery. The sales and after sales team will also grow with the target to improve the quality of customer service.

The decision to move into a new location has been motivated by the constantly increasing number of installations, says the company, as well as by the addition of the new product line of metallizing machinery.

The company also announces the grand opening of the new location of Nordmeccanica Vacuum in the same industrial park as the corporate location of the Nordmeccanica Group in Piacenza, Italy. The expanding market of metallizing machinery required a properly sized building, and the location will allow for an efficient assembly process while complying with the most stringent criteria in energy saving and environmental protection.

The all-day grand-opening event will be held on May 16, with an International Conference on Coating and Metallizing technologies.
