Roland Printer/Cutter Has New Features

IRVINE, CA | Roland announces the VersaCAMM VSi Series, the latest generation of VersaCAMM wide-format eco-solvent inkjet printer/cutters. Company says the new VSi Offers all of the features of the original VersaCAMM, including high quality eco-solvent inks, integrated contour cutting, ease of use, versatility, and dependability, plus new capabilities and design enhancements.

Available in 30-, 54-, and 64-in. models, the VSi family now features a newly designed eight-channel Piezo inkjet printhead, variable droplet inkjet printing, and the latest in eco-solvent inks, all said to provide outstanding images with exceptional detail at all print speeds. With seven different droplet sizes available, the VSi Series is said to achieve smoother gradations and richer density for superior photographic and high-resolution output.

Every VSi printer/cutter is equipped to take full advantage of company’s faster-drying GREENGUARD Gold certified Eco-Sol MAX 2 inks in CMYKLcLm, high-opacity White, Metallic Silver, and Light Black. An automated ink recirculation system is said to reduce waste of white and metallic ink, lowering running costs and ensuring exceptional image quality.

Reportedly, a new print/cut adjustment feature lets user make accurate adjustments “on the fly” from the control panel while the printer is cutting, and a new small-footprint, front-loading ink cartridge system allows for optimum convenience and easy access at all times.
