GLOUCESTER, MA | Gloucester Engineering Co. (GEC) will feature its lines of engineered equipment for the plastic extrusion industry at Chinaplas 2013, scheduled for May 20–23 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou.
“Gloucester Engineering’s product lines are not engineered as standard equipment but are customized solutions for each individual customer, focusing on their return on investment,” says Chew YewKwong, sales director, Asia Pacific. “Our machinery and equipment has a strong history of success throughout Asia. We look forward to Chinaplas and the opportunity to meet with customers and prospects at Asia’s largest plastics industry event.”
The company will also feature complementary auxiliary equipment from its subsidiaries Future Design, Mississauga, ON, Canada, and Pearl Technologies, Savannah, NY, both acquired in the past year.
Future Design is a supplier of products for the flexible packaging industry, offering blown film bubble management expertise in a wide array from small to big blown film applications and products such as the trademarked Saturn and Perfect Balance air rings (with profile control technology), patented SES evacuation systems, blown film line components, and Little Giant narrow web/lab lines.
Pearl Technologies engineers and manufactures consumable parts for film extrusion and converting equipment that are said to improve performance and reduce operating costs.
