AWA Offers Sleeve Label, In-Mold Conferences

AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS | AWA Alexander Watson Assoc. announces the International Sleeve Label Conference & Exhibition 2013, scheduled for April 18–19 in Amsterdam Airport’s Park Plaza Hotel.
Both stretch and shrink sleeves are on the agenda, with expert speaker presentations covering, among other subjects, product branding and marketing, sleeve label design, pricing issues at both ends of the value chain, material selection, prepress, inks, converting, and seaming. The conference is moderated by Dr. William Llewellyn, VP and senior consultant for AWA, who will also present an overview of quantitative market data gained from the company’s extensive research in the field. A concurrent exhibition features leading industry suppliers.
One day prior to the Sleeve Label Conference, AWA Conferences & Events is offering the In-Mold Technologies Seminar 2013 at the same venue. This biennial event devoted to in-mold labeling and product decoration is led by AWA president and CEO Corey M. Reardon, who, as well as presenting the company’s global market data, will moderate a panel discussion on label materials featuring speakers from Yupo, Drukkerij Verstraete, and Innovia Films.
All aspects of in-mold technology will be covered, including inks and coatings, digital printing, injection and blow molding and thermoforming, and the event also features a supplier tabletop exhibition.
