Inter-Pac Is Acquired by Pregis

DEERFIELD, IL | Pregis Corp., a supplier of protective packaging solutions, has acquired Inter-Pac, a protective packaging product manufacturer located in Tupelo, Miss., for an undisclosed amount. Pregis says the acquisition will make it the largest producer of polyethylene sheet foam in the US.

Pregis president and CEO Kevin Baudhuin, says, “We are pleased to add Inter-Pac’s Tupelo facility to [our] manufacturing footprint. Its geographic location will be an asset in servicing the protective packaging needs of our East Coast customers. This investment is the latest example of our commitment to our growth strategy.”

Pregis will continue to operate Inter-Pac’s 180,000-sq-foot Tupelo manufacturing facility, and the 25 Tupelo employees will be joining Pregis’ 2,000-member worldwide team.
