Scantech Offers Precise, Energy-Saving Scanner

GAITHERSBURG, MD | The ULO (Ultra-light O-frame) scanner from Scantech Americas for online measurement and process control is engineered with a compact machine frame and x-ray sensor, as well as several energy-saving features. The technology is said to be functional, accurate, and environmentally friendly.

ULO sensors do not require hazardous radioactive sources such as gamma backscatter, and they are manufactured with fewer components, less cabling, and advanced electronics. The result is a robust system with greater production and cost-saving benefits for film, sheet, nonwoven, coating, and laminating applications.
