VCF Films to Sponsor Speaker on Thin Films

 HOWELL, MI | VCF Films, a manufacturer of thin polymer films and coatings for a variety of industries, will sponsor a presentation by web-coating expert Dr. Edward Cohen, at the 2012 Flexible Electronics and Displays Conference and Exhibition being held February 6–9 in Phoenix, AZ. The event is presented by the FlexTech Alliance.

Dr. Cohen, who has over 45 years experience in the thin film coating and manufacturing industry, is a well-published author and researcher who has personally developed many coating and drying techniques for a wide variety of precision coated products, polyester films, photopolymer films, thin film batteries, fuel cells, and smart labels.

Dr. Cohen’s presentation, scheduled for Wednesday, February 8 at 10:00 a.m., will cover the various advantages of the slot die coating process and how it can be used by flexible electronics and display manufacturers to improve the quality of existing products and develop new product components.
