Belgium-based Amcor Flexibles, license holder for the micro-perforated Tstix package, reports the stickpack has won the President's Award Bronze at the World Packaging Organisation's WorldStar Awards. Tstix, which features more than 1,100 microholes, is an alternative to tea bags and pods. Consumers simply put the package into a cup of hot water and stir until the drink has the desired strength. The stickpack enables flavor control and is convenient and easy to use. The company also recommends this product for other instant beverage products such as coffee or fruit-flavored beverages.
