Certifications Upgraded at Web Industries

 ATLANTA GA | Web Industries says two of its manufacturing locations recently have received key industry certifications or registrations.

The Atlanta facility has earned AS9100C certification, and the Hartford, CT, location is now an FDA-registered Medical Device Establishment. These certifications are in addition to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications that all five manufacturing locations have earned and the ISO 13485 certification that all Web Industries medical manufacturing locations hold.

FDA registration of the Hartford facility clears the way for the company to offer expanded contract manufacturing and converting services in the medical device and diagnostics marketplace. The facility already holds ISO 13485 certification, demonstrating a commitment to standards, quality, and best practices that are critical to medical manufacturing. FDA registration adds another layer of accountability by allowing the FDA to perform spot audits of the facility to ensure that good manufacturing practice and quality system standards are being followed.
