Metso to Supply Kraftliner Board Machine to China

PRESS RELEASE

HELSINKI, FINLAND—Metso Paper will supply Lee & Man Paper Co. with a kraftliner board machine, scheduled to start up December 2006 in Changshu, China. The machine will have an annual capacity of 400,000 metric tons and the order totals approximately €40 million.

The PM 8 will have a wire width of 7,250 mm and a design speed of 1,150 m per min. The delivery includes Metso Automation's machine control systems.
