Paper, Film & Foil CONVERTER, formerly part of Maclean Hunter Publishing is now a part of Intertec Publishing Corp., Overland Park, KS.
On Jan. 31, Intertec completed its acquisition of trade and technical magazines, directories, newsletters and associated businesses of Maclean Hunter's Chicago- and Minneapolis-based publishing operations from Rogers Communications Inc., Toronto, Canada. Involved in the transaction were 15 controlled magazines, two paid-circulation magazines, five newsletters plus a collection of eight ancillary businesses.

"These publications fit well into the Intertec family, bringing quality editorial to well-established, growing markets. Very similar in editorial style and circulation size, the new properties will integrate well into Intertec's operations."
