Films utilize capacity of cast polyethylene

Laminated films designed for packaging of toner cartridges have been introduced by Web Technologies, Oakville, CT.

Copy-Pat films are a custom-engineered laminate of metallized polyester and black heat-sealable polyethylene that offers a low moisture-vapor-transmission rate and light opacity.

According to the company, this is the first product engineered from the start to take advantage of its east polyethylene capacity. All variables in polyethylene-film production are controlled to match Web Technologies' metallizing and laminating capabilities.

Each new or recharged toner cartridge is shipped in a heat-sealed bag for protection against humidity and light. Bags can be returned to the cartridge manufacturer with the spent cartridge for recycling.

Copy-Pac is available for immediate shipment from inventory in one roll or truckload quantities. Standard thickness is 2.5 mil, however, custom thicknesses are available with short lead times. It's manufactured in roll widths up to 74 in.
