UPM Raflatac Offers Guide to Digital Materials

HELSINKI, FINLAND | UPM Raflatac offers digital papers and films for the pressure-sensitive label industry and a film facestock portfolio for the digital market. But the company says that with such a diverse selection available, it can be difficult to find the right materials for a digital printer. To that end, the company has launched a digital printer recommendation tool, which promises to deliver a comprehensive database of paper and film materials suitable for a variety of digital printing technologies.

This new tool reportedly provides up-to-date and accurate product information about company’s digital label stock materials as well as ratings for how they will perform on various digital printers, ranging from small desktop models to industrial-scale digital presses.

"Our new digital printer recommendation tool is one way in which we are labeling a smarter future," says Kirit Naik, PhD, MBA, R&D director, Americas, UPM Raflatac. "By working closely with the printer manufacturers and performing extensive testing of our products on their equipment, we are confident that our customers will find this tool to be of great value."

Andres Mulero, segment manager, print-on-demand, EMEIA, UPM Raflatac, says, "At UPM Raflatac, we pride ourselves on providing our customers world-class service with a local touch, and we developed this cutting-edge new printer recommendation tool to help them eliminate the guesswork. It will maximize their efficiency and help them strengthen their brand, no matter which printer they use."
